About Dellamorte & Co.

Dellamorte & Co. started with a desire for decorative and functional art that matched my aesthetic sense and eccentric tastes. After sculpting several pieces for myself I decided to offer them for sale, and gradually expanded my line of products as new ideas took hold.

My style is influenced by mythology, the occult, and the macabre. Many of my pieces are inspired by historical sources- tomb art and ossuaries, as well as cross-cultural dark themes, such as Dia de los Muertos, voodoo, Lovecraft, and steampunk.

I grew up studying Renaissance and Baroque artists, which became major influences in my style. Since a focus of my product is on decorative and functional pieces, I look to how old masters applied their craft to similar work. Much of 19th century sculpture and Art Nouveau explored function and style; my goal is to bring attention to detail and form through these influences. A lot of dark or gothic art I see today can be lackluster, so I give my pieces a sense of classical maturity.
